Crackle by Sony Pictures is completely free. They rotate every month their TV, Movies, and Original content. It is an Ad supported app to keep it free for us. A lot of classic shows and movies. There’s a big collection of TV and B-listed movies.
Tubi TV has fewer Ads then regular TV. Has a lot of programs from other countries. Telenovela’s, Korean, and British’s movies and shows. There is a selection of Anime available as well. New content every Friday. You’ll see many Oscar winning movies of different era’s.
Pluto TV has over 200+ channels and 1k of Demand movies and TV shows. They have a whole Boss Ross channel! Watch him paint his happy little tree’s. It also has an option to find some local channels on it. Pluto TV channel lineup is amazing.
Plex has over 100 channels to steam. Even stream all your family photo’s and video’s from your home computer to the app. That means your private collection of media can be seen a variety of platforms. Plex also has options to record local shows, news and sports. There is a paid upgrade with Plex Pass Premium.
Peacock has an extensive collection of movies and TV shows. Live sports, and news channels are available on Peacock. They like to bring the famous Harry Potter movies to watch for free. This one does have paid options. Like Peacock Premium is available for Xfinity Flex customers.
There are a ton of other legitimate media streaming apps. These are just a few that have their apps available to be downloaded on the most platforms (phones, tablets, Roku, Amazon Firestick, gaming systems, and more). These services also have a website that you can navigate through to watch your favorite streaming media. Between them all, you will get a variety overload of media.
